“Why the fuck don’t you have one, Water Tribe?” Kuvira mocked.
The dance department’s production of ‘The Avatar’ brought much more trouble to its two main stars than it was worth. A theatrical onstage rivalry quickly turned into a violent offstage rivalry as both Korra Kuruk, playing the role of Avatar, and Kuvira Beifong, playing the role of The Great Uniter, realized they had much more bad blood between them than it originally seemed. Korra had been sent by her agency two years ago to arrest the ever ominous “Metal Bender” for crimes against innocents and intentions to use a weapon of mass destruction. Never would she have thought that such a deadly criminal would be the person she’d least expected—she also never thought that down the line she’d be saving that same person’s life in order to take down a greater foe.
